Framing Work

Here I framed a set of doors to go onto an old barn. Before that was just one of those sliding doors.
Here I cut open a huge wall in the front of a home to install a set of french doors. Framed up a wall real fast. It took all day but I got it done within a day.
Here was a decent-sized structure someone asked me to build inside of their greenhouse. It was odd but I didn't ask questions, just did what I was hired to do! Here you can see I also install insulation as well as a door. Then at the end a little structure on the back side to protect the air conditioner. Do you see the precision in my cuts? I love framing!
This was a huge project for me. This barn was built in the 70's, the framing put up then siding around he framing, but never fully completed and sealed off to the elements like it should be. So I took all of the siding off of an old barn. Saved the wood for later to be put back on (see siding). Then put in studs every 16 inches. New windows, new door. Everything water tight. Mind you I did all of this by myself, so I had to get creative at times. But in the end (which you should go all the way to the end), this was wrapped up in Tyvek and siding was put back on! It was a really rewarding experience.
